Latest Panda Update 21 Impacts 1.1% of English Queries in the US!


Google has confirmed to publishers that they did roll out a new Panda Update on the 5th of November. This update is believed to have impacted 1.1% of English queries in the US and has impacted only 0.4% of queries worldwide. This update follows the Panda 20 which came out exactly a month ago and to impacted 2.4% of English search terms.


Google has been using Twitter the past few months to announce Panda roll outs like the roll out of Panda 3.92 in September after the Panda 3.91 which impacted 1% of US English queries. Please see our exhaustive coverage of the Panda Update since its launch in 2011, here.

Do Human Evaluators Influence Sites Hit by Panda? Google Answers!


Google has human evaluators at work and recently announced that manual actions will be reported to webmasters as well. But webmasters wanted to know how Google confirms users’ satisfaction in case human evaluators influence which sites to be hit by Panda. This was answered by Google’s head of webspam team – Matt Cutts in a video.
